Rachel & Jeffrey {Engaged}

These two have known each other basically their whole lives. Rachel had been friends with Jeffrey's sister throughout the years growing up. The two had always known each other but thoughts of them dating weren't even in their minds. Life went on and they both went off to college.. coincidentally, the same college. So there it was.. they ran into each other on campus and it was love at first... i mean second, third?.. sight :) Adorable, right?

I was along for the ride on this session with my mentor, Jennifer Brown. We went to Blowing Rock, NC and it was a BLAST :) Even though I've lived in NC for almost 5 years now, I still haven't seen much of the state. So this was my first time going to the mountains.. it was absolutely gorgeous! I would be wayyy to scared to live and drive around the everyday, but it is a beautiful place to visit. Here are some pictures from the day...

Lindsey and Steve {Engaged}

Lindsey and Steve were great and so much fun. Here are some of the shots from the other day...

Sarah & Ian {Engaged!}

Let me just telling you a little something about Sarah & Ian... I LOVE THEM! Ian is practically my big brother and Sarah is just one of the funniest southern girls I have ever met. These two have been dating since high school, went to Western Carolina together and recently graduated! It's been a long time coming for Ian to pop the question but he finally did this past 4th of July.. under the firework, sitting out by the lake. This kids' got game ;)

Since their wedding isn't until September of 2011, Sarah decided that she wanted two engagement sessions! This one was for the fall season so we went to Carrigan Farms for a bit and then headed over to downtown Moorseville. The spring session will be coming in the near future and then the wedding in September! I love these two so very much and I really do wish them the absoulte best of what life has to offer.

Danielle and Steve {Engaged!}

Danielle and Steve came into where I work at Texas Land and Cattle for lunch with their families, and (luckily ;), hehe) I was their server. The absolute joy from their family was beaming off the table, so nosey me of course had to ask what the occasion was. Wouldn't you know, Danielle and Steve had just gotten engaged!! Then I obviously had to tell them that I was a photographer! (ya know, just throwin' it out there =]) About two months later I got a call from Danielle, and I was so very excited!

This extremely adorable couple just moved to Charlotte from D.C. I thought it would be a great idea to show their friends and family from back home where they are living now, so we walked around Uptown Charlotte, laughing the day away and getting some great shots! I had such a great time with this couple, especially since they were up for anything! You can tell that both of them are just head over heels in love, it's just so cute! :)
